Start with the carbon grade
PCS can use screened or micronised grades—0–2 mm, 2–4 mm, 4–6 mm and 6 mm+, with micronised options below 50 µm and below 100 µm—or discuss a bespoke particle specification where the application requires it.
Control the full formulation
A repeatable blend needs defined component identities, ratios and physical requirements. Moisture, density, fines, segregation, handling and delivery should be considered alongside the recipe itself.

Which biochar grades can PCS use in a blend?+
PCS standard grades are 0–2 mm, 2–4 mm, 4–6 mm and 6 mm+, with micronised options below 50 µm and below 100 µm. A bespoke particle specification can also be discussed where required.
