Pyrolysis Carbon Solutions Ltd (“PCS”, “we”, “us”) is the controller responsible for personal information collected through this website. Our company number is 14590292. We are registered in England and Wales and our registered office is 59 The Mount, Shrewsbury, England, SY3 8PL.
2. Information we collect
When you use an enquiry or order-request form, we may collect your name, company, email address, phone number, delivery postcode, area of interest, the product and quantity requested, and any information you include in your message or order notes.
If you accept optional analytics, we collect limited website measurement data such as a randomly generated in-memory visit identifier, pages viewed, page title, broad device category, country code supplied by our hosting provider, referring website domain, campaign parameters and whether an enquiry or order request was completed. We do not use GPS, collect precise location coordinates or retain your IP address in these analytics records. Where Microsoft Clarity is configured, consent also permits masked interaction information used for heatmaps and session replays, such as clicks, scrolls, navigation and device or browser details. Form fields and sensitive content are masked. PCS does not send form contents or contact details as analytics tags or events, does not grant advertising-storage consent, and respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.
Your analytics choice and its update time are stored locally in your browser so the website can remember it. Our hosting, Microsoft Clarity and security providers may process technical data needed to deliver, measure and protect the website, but Clarity is not loaded before analytics consent.
3. Why we use it
We use enquiry and order-request details to respond, prepare quotations, check availability and delivery requirements, take steps at your request before entering a contract, administer any resulting customer relationship, maintain business records, and protect the website from misuse.
Depending on the context, our lawful bases are steps taken at your request before a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries, operating PCS and improving the website. Optional analytics operates only after your choice. We do not sell personal information.
If you choose the separate product-updates tick box, we record your name, email, choice, the wording shown, its version and the time of your submission so PCS can email you about Black Label availability and product updates on the basis of your consent. You can enquire without opting in. To withdraw, email info@pyrolysiscarbonsolutions.co.uk or call 020 3468 6889. No product-update emails are sent automatically by this form.
5. International transfers
Some technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where that happens, we require an appropriate UK transfer mechanism or another safeguard recognised under UK data-protection law.
6. How long we keep it
Product-update preferences and their consent evidence are held with the enquiry record. PCS must check current consent and any withdrawal before sending updates. Website enquiry and unconfirmed order-request records are normally retained for up to 24 months so that PCS can respond and maintain a useful history of the discussion. Optional analytics records are retained only while they remain reasonably useful for website measurement and are then deleted or aggregated. Your privacy choice remains in your browser until it is replaced or you clear the website’s stored data.
If a request leads to a quotation, order, contract or legal obligation, relevant business records may be kept for up to six years or longer where the law requires. Data that is no longer required is deleted or anonymised.
7. Security
Forms submit directly to the PCS website backend over HTTPS. We use access controls, data minimisation and technical safeguards intended to prevent unauthorised access, alteration or loss. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, restriction or objection to its use, or a portable copy. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
